Course Objectives
1. To give an ability to write and read technical drawings
2. To provide the applications of dimensioning, surface finishing symbols and geometrical tolerances on the technical drawings,
3. To give an ability to draw standard machine elements and assembly drawings.
4. To establish an understanding of techniques used in engineering drawings for technical communication.
Course Description
Drawing instruments, Meanings of Line Types, Lettering, Basic drawing methods, Technical Drawing in Engineering, Geometric constructions and drawings, Multiview projection, Parallel projection, Sectional views, Dimensioning, Oblique and axonometric (isometric) drawings, Computer-aided design (CAD)
