Course Objectives

1. To provide the knowledge of economic design of heat exchangers.
2. To provide the knowledge of combustion analysis and applications.
3. To provide the knowledge on condensation control and calculation in building components.
4. To make known engineering practice and concepts of heat exchangers performance details.
5. To make known fundamentals of mass exchangers.

Course Description

Principles of mass transfer by diffusion and convection. Simultaneous heat and mass transfer.
Heat and mass exchangers. Combustion. Application in heat and mass exchanger design with
emphasis on economics and variation of operating conditions.
