Course Description Sustainable energy and utilization of energy sources. Fundamental concepts: Industry 4.0,. Energy Storage. Demand – Supply Analysis, Scale Analysis. Capacity factor. Effectiveness. Geothermal energy utilization: Thermodynamic cycles, heat pumps. Wind energy utilization: Basic aerodynamics, statistics, capacity factor. Biomass Conversion: Aneorobic digestion, power generation. Hydrogen Energy. Fuel Cells: Thermodynamics. Solar Energy: Thermal power. Energy efficient buildings. Photovoltaic Systems: Semi-conductors, solar modules. Vehicle Dynamics. EV’s, HEV’s. Batteries. Fusion
