Course Objectives
The objective of this course is to develop the students ability to design and conduct oil, natural gas and geothermal projects, experiments and applications either individually or as a part of a team and to develop and improve the students ability in oral and written communications.
Course Description
Oil and gas economy-politics. Profitability measures (payout PGI, ROR, NPV, etc.). Decision analysis, expected monetary value. Risk analysis methods for uncertain oil and gas investments.
Course Outcomes
Students, who passed the course, satisfactorily can:
1. Have knowledge of evaluating industrial projects,
2. Make decision analysis,
3. Understand risk and risk uncertainty,
4. Evaluate risky and uncertain investments.
