Course Description		Introduction and history of Occupational health and safety. The effects of workplace on employees (chemical, physical, biological and psychological and sociological factors). Occupational diseases: definition, causes, protection and consequences. Occupational accidents: definition, causes, prevention and consequences. Ergonomics applications, Personal protective equipment, Expert witnees on claims about occupational diseases and accidents. The health and safety problems and their solution techniques in mineral Processing plants.
