Course Description		Introduction to mining engineering education and occupational areas. Introduction to and comparison of underground and open pit mining methods. Mine mechanization applications and advantages. Importance of ore-coal processing, application areas. Mining of coal, metals, precious metals and natural stones in Turkey and the world. Cement production technologies. Government and private sectors in mining. Mining and environment.
