Course Objectives
1. To develop an ability to solve problems related to mining engineering subjects by combining the knowledge learnt during mining engineering education,
2. To develop an ability to do literature survey, theoretical study and prepare solution methodologies,
3. To develop an ability to do site study, laboratory study, data collection, data analysis and interpretation of the results
4. To develop an ability to prepare a technical report based on these studies and present the study in front of audience.
Course Description
Field studies to obtain data, laboratory studies, office studies, data analyses, design and preparation of report.
Course Outcomes
The students who pass this course will be able to
I. learn the steps to analyze a problem related to mining engineering in a large perspective.
II. learn how to collect data related to the studied topic.
III. learn how to analyze and interpret the data for reasoning.
IV. learn how to prepare a technical report on what he/she studied and present it in front of audience.
