Course Objectives Having knowledge about the geophysical parameters of the solid earth to understand how the geological processes in the solid earth are interrelated and integrate them with the previous knowledge from various courses and find solution to a given earth science problem.
Course Description The scope of this course includes the origin of universe, solar system and planets, composition of sun and planets, the shape and rotation of the earth and the geophysical parameters of the solid earth and their relations to the geological processes
Course Outcomes Students who pass the course will be able to; I. Have knowledge about the geophysical parameters of the solid earth to understand how the geological processes in the solid earth are interrelated and integrate them with the previous knowledge from various courses and find solution to a given earth science problem,II. Improve the analytical skills of students by using inter-relationships among the problems and issues of the earth science
