Course Objectives To teach the geology of Turkey, to introduce the students in advance to the general characteristics of the study areas in their future studies related to their professions
Course Description The course covers the paleotectonic and neotectonic evolution and paleogeography of Turkey and the surrounding seas, the mechanisms of their formation, the formations of the region in time-rock relationship, and the geological evolution of Turkey.

Neotectonic evolution of Turkiye,
Active tectonics of Turkiye,
The formation system and active tectonics of the seas of Turkiye,
Learning the main tectonic and stratigraphic elements in the land areas of Turkiye.
