Course Objectives
Geology provides an integrated view of the lithospheric component of the Earth System. Understanding Geology and Sustainability/Global Goals (Sustainable Development Goals, Sendai Risk Reduction Framework, Climate Change Adaption Agreement, New Urban Agenda, EU Green Deal)
Course Description
General Geology is an introduction course to the Solid Earth System. This course outlines the way Earth works externally and internally. It presents the earth materials and geological structures, processess and history in terms of the plate tectonics theory.
