Course Objectives The aim of this course is to introduce the main methods and techniques used to monitor the physical, chemical, and biological characteristics of marine ecosystems. The course aims to develop students’ ability to collect, analyze, and interpret marine data for environmental monitoring and management purposes.
Course Description This course covers the main methods and technologies used in marine ecosystem monitoring. Topics include marine sampling techniques, remote sensing, sensor systems, and approaches to data collection and analysis. The course also examines the monitoring of environmental changes and the impacts of human activities on marine ecosystems.
Course Outcomes Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
