Course Objectives Introduction to the concept of hydrogeochemistry and groundwater via relevant to terminology; Explanation the relationship between physicochemical properties of waters and mineralogical and chemical composition of aquifer rocks, Explanation geochemical interpretation of analysis results of groundwaters, Introduction the drinking and domestic criteria of waters.
Course Description Hydrosphere, The water cycle, Sources of water, Surface and groundwater hydrology, Physical properties of the groundwater, Chemical properties of the groundwater, Geochemical interpretation of analysis results of waters, Use criteria of groundwaters, Major and trace element composition of groundwater, Water-rock interaction and geochemical elevation of water
