Course Objectives		To provide students information about mineral and coal processing To give information on the working areas of mineral processing.
Course Description		General information on mineral and coal processing will be given. These are namely: Definition, importance and history of mineral and coal processing. Ore characterization and its importance. Ore preparation, physical concentration, flotation, chemical concentration methods, solid/liquid separation. Mineral and coal processing plant design and examples.
