Course Objectives		1.To provide the usage of industrial raw materials correctly and relevantly in Turkey, 2.To develop the base and acknowledgement about final product of industrial raw materials in Turkey, 3.To enhance the contribution to economy of industrial raw materials.
Course Description		Description, importance, reserves, production, import and export of industrial raw materials. Industrial minerals produced in Turkey. Feldspar, kaolin, ceramic clays, wollastonite, talc, zircon (Ceramic industry), magnesite, chromite, refractory clay, mica, disten, dolomite, bauxite, graphite (Refractory industry), quartz, Trona, nepheline Syenite, lithium (Glass industry), sepiolite, zeolites, diatomite, bentonite, calcite (Filler and Filtration industry), limestone, pumice, perlite, tras, sand (Construction and Cement industry), boron minerals, salt, sodium sulphate, fluorite, barite, celestite, iron and titanium oxide minerals (Chemical, Paint and Detergent industry), phosphate rock, apatite, sulfur (Fertilizer industry), diamond, corundum, grind stone, grona, spinel, semi precious minerals and rare earth minerals
