Course Objectives

1. Investigation of the structure of different cell types, and the isolated organelles.
2. Investigation of the effects of various factors on cell structure.
3. Detection and characterization of biological molecules in cell structure.
4. Observing the cell cycle.
5. Application of basic experimental methods for molecular cell biology

Course Description

Basics of light microscopy and observation of different types of cells, isolation of organelles, investigation of factor affecting cell membrane structure, DNA isolation, analysis of polysaccharides, observation of cell division cycle phases.
