Course Objectives
1.to understand green chemistry concept and green metrics
2.to learn twelve principle of green chemistry
3.to learn green chemicals and use as an alternative
4.to learn renewable resource
5.to be able to use principle of green chemistry for engineering and other chemistry fields
6.to eliminate or minimize chemical waste generation
Course Description
Introduction to green chemistry and fundamental 12 principle, metrics of green chemistry, application of green process metrics in synthetic methods and understanding of methods in use suitable for green chemistry, description of green catalyst, sustainable and renewable resources, green engineering, case studies about some process, applications of green chemistry in analytical chemistry, environmental chemistry and pharmaceutical chemistry.
