Course Description		Esterification, claisen condensation, synthesis of a heterocylic compound, aldol condensation, reduction reaction, synthesis of an acetal, synthesis of an oxirane, nitration of phenol, Friedel-Crafts reaction, synthesis of dyeing compound, acetylation (synthesis of aspirin), Diels-Alder reaction
