1. Increase community disaster resilience

Course Description
Frequently encountered disasters in Turkey, introduction to principles of emergency management, our responsibilities as a citizen, steps necessary for preparedness, voluntariness, detecting risks and resources around us.
Course Outcomes
1. Understand the importance of disaster preparedness
2. Have assimilated the four phases of emergency management
3. Be able to determine the risks and resources around them and have an idea on how to use them
4. Have comprehended the basis for voluntariness
