Course Objectives
1. To inform students about basic and recent molecular biology techniques
2. Theorethical explanations of Basic Biological Techniques with examples and application
areas
3. Theorethical explanations of Recent Molecular Biology and Genetics methods; specifically
DNA/RNA based methods with examples and application areas
Course Description
the principles of chromatography, protein purification using chromatographic techniques, electrophoretic methods, identification of proteins and nucleic acids by electrophoresis, radioactive labelling methods, membrane filtration and dialysis techniques, centrifugation methods.
