Course Objectives
1. To teach the basic concepts and principles of chemistry.
2.To give theoretical and practical knowledge as a whole.
3.To develop students' problem solving skills.
4.To explain the importance of chemistry in our daily life.
5.To direct students to logical and positive thoughts and to enable them to understand the laws of nature within this framework.
Course Description
The scope of chemistry and stoichiometry, atoms and the atomic theories, the periodic table and some atomic properties, chemical bonding, molecular geometry, gases and gas laws, liquids, solids, solutions and their physical properties, thermochemistry, principles of chemical equilibrium, acids and bases, thermodynamic.
