Course Objectives 1. To teach the basic concepts and principles of chemistry.
2.To give theoretical and practical knowledge as a whole.

to ensure that they understand their laws in this context.
Course Description Chemistry and stoichiometry, atoms and atomic theories, periodic table and atomic properties, chemical bonds, molecular geometry, gases and gas laws, liquids, solids, solutions and their physical properties, thermochemistry, chemical equilibrium, acids and bases, thermodynamics
Course Outcomes Students who successfully pass this course:
1. The structure of the atom and the theories about the atom, about the periodic table
can comment and apply.
2. Calculations using stoichiometry in chemical reactions
can do.
3. Makes different theory applications and solves problems related to liquid solutions and gases.
4. Make applications related to heat, work, enthalpy and internal energy changes.
5. Will be able to show the three-dimensional structures of chemical compounds by using the bond concept and various theories related to the bond concept.
6. Has knowledge about the crystal structures of solids and can solve applications.
7. Solve problems related to thermodynamics, equilibrium, acidity, basicity and concentration.
8. Can support all this information with real examples from daily life.
