Course Description

Structures and bonds of organic compounds, covalent bonds and chemical reactivity, acids and bases, alkanes and cycloalkanes, stereochemistry, nucleophilic substitution and elimination reactions, alkenes, polyenes, alkynes, an introduction to ultraviolet, infrared and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, alcohols and ethers.
