Course Objectives		The course aims to familiarize the students with Ottoman history and historical methodology.
Course Description		The study and historical trajectory of the Ottoman Empire through focusing on its scientific, tehnological and cultural aspects.
Course Outcomes		1. Students will be equipped with the basic concepts of history and historical research methodology. 2. Students will be equipped with the history of the Ottoman Empire within the framework of certain themes. 3. Students will be equipped with a critical approach in evaluating historical texts. 4. The course will provide students with analytical reading and writing skills.
