Course Objectives
1. Learning the fundamental concepts of the Python language and using them in numerical analysis,
2. Learning to use of Python as a computation tool,
3. Introduction to the object-oriented programming, interface development, interaction with other languages and symbolic computations with Python.
Course Description
Computational Analysis of Physical Systems
Course Outcomes
I. Gaining a general knowledge about open-source software in science,
II. Gaining ability to use Python in numerical computations,
III. Analyzing various physics systems numerically,
IV. Gaining knowledge on advanced usage of Python,
V. Gaining ability to use Python as a symbolic calculator in cases requiring exact solutions.
