To supply the students with the introductory level information of Differential Equations theory.
Course Description
Ordinary Differential Equations
Course Outcomes
1 - solve first order separable, homogeneous, exact and linear equations and explain the geometrical meaning of the results
2 - solve constant coefficient higher order differential equations and use these methods to solve applied problems
3 - solve approximately or exactly linear diferential equations with polynomial coefficients using series methods
4 - calculate the Laplace and inverse Laplace transforms of some elementary functions and apply them to solve initial value problems for constant coefficient linear differential equations
5 - solve constant coefficient linear systems of differntial equations in matrix form
