Course Objectives

This course aims to provide the student with the rudiments of the history and dynamics of modern Turkey.

Course Description

The course does not aim to dictate what happened when but to encourage the students to develop a critical thinking with regard to the formations of modern Turkey, Turkish culture, politics and identity.
