Course Objectives

1. To inform students about industrial microorganisms
2. To inform students about industrial microorganism improvement methods
3. To give information about the usage of industrial microorganisms in different proceses and in the production of important chemicals.

Course Description

Industrial microorganisms, their storage, isolation and improvement, biomass and biofuel production, microbial production of enzymes, amino acids, organic acids, the use o microorganisms in food production processes etc.
