Course Objectives This is an introduction to the risk reduction and damage efforts, and resilience management planning applications to minimize vulnerabilities for building disaster resilience.
Course Description One primary objective of the course is to provide an understanding of the principles and practice of disaster mitigation at the local, regional and global level, emphasizing the importance of avoiding or preventing future and recurring losses of life and damage to public and private property.
