Course Objectives

• To evaluate the features that will enable personnel, managers and volunteers to take part effectively in the system in emergency management,
• To introduce you to managerial concepts related to human resources,
• To emphasize that the management of human resources at all levels in disasters and emergencies is an important factor that will affect all operations.

Course Description

HR Management. Motivation. Group dynamics during disaster. Managing groups. Personnel evaluation. Voluntary resources: voluntary concept, planning of voluntary program, orientation and training, management and evaluation of voluntary groups, special cases, legistlation. Creating spotting groups in community: sustainability of these grups. Leadership and influence. Decision making and problem solving.
