Course Description		Disaster impacts on women and men, vulnerabilities to hazards and disasters, social issues in disaster risk management, analysis of the capacity building, effective awareness, training, post-disaster recovery and reconstruction, mitigation planning.
Course Outcomes		Students who successfully pass this course gain knowledge in the following subjects ; 1. To understand disaster impacts, 2. Taking into consideration needs during disasters, 3. Gender-sensitive disaster management, 4. Gender empowerment and awareness and developing strategies
