Course Objectives
The aim of the course is to teach the use of geographic information systems and technologies in planning through theoretical and applied examples.
Course Description
The course covers the working principles, components and functions of GIS; presentation of geographic data/information; creation of thematic maps; data query and data analysis; remote sensing and spatial analysis techniques.
