Course Objectives
This course aims to introduce students to the fundamentals of MATLAB programming and its applications in engineering and scientific computing. By the end of the course, students will be able to write MATLAB scripts, manipulate arrays and matrices, use control structures, create graphical representations of data, and apply MATLAB to problem-solving in various technical fields.
Course Description
This course provides an introduction to MATLAB, a powerful computing environment used for numerical analysis, data visualization, and algorithm development. Students will learn the basics of the MATLAB interface, commands, and programming structures such as loops, conditional statements, and logical operators. The course covers essential topics including array and matrix operations, data importing, and polynomial functions. Additionally, students will explore MATLAB’s visualization tools to create plots and graphical representations of data. A hands-on approach with practical examples and assignments will reinforce learning and application of concepts.
