Course Objectives
Present basic concepts on discrete mathematics from applications point of view.
Course Description
This course is an introduction to discrete mathematics. Topics covered are
• probability, counting, combinatorics (6 weeks)
• linear programming, (3 weeks)
• Fourier Transform, (4 weeks)
• data compression (1 week)
