BLU 535E - Informatics and Media Arts

Course Objectives

This course aims,
1. to comprehend the interaction of informatics and media arts,
2. to scrutinize the theories, terms and concepts of informatics and media art studies in order to provide the students with an intellectual point of view,
3. to let the students acquire a basic information on informatics and media art where they could use them to understand the age that they live in.

Course Description

Focusing on contemporary theoretical discussions about informatics and media arts, this course includes tutorial and laboratory assignments, which aim to foster knowledge and experience of the students. Students will also analyze artworks of informatics and media arts by exploring how innovative approaches can be developed.
