Course Objectives
Course Description		The main objective of this class is to learn how to model general engineering problems as optimization problems and apply numerical optimization techniques for solving them. In this class, we examine the algorithms needed for linear, unconstrained nonlinear and constrained nonlinear optimization problems as well as Multi-disiplinary Optimization, Multi-objective Optimization, Genetic Algorithms, Topology Optimization and Reliability Based Design Optimization.
