GEO 213E - Positioning Method and Systems
Course Objectives
The aim of this course is to provide students to-Understand GNSS general units(GPS, Galileo, Glonass, Beidou, Space-Control-User segments, Receiver and antenna types)-GNSS basic components (Coordinate systems, datum, orbits, signal, time, atmosphere, etc.)
-GNSS basic theory (integer ambiguity, double and triple differences, cycle slip detection, etc.) and positioning (absolute PDOP and GDOP, GPS surveying techniques, etc.)-GNSS error sources and the elimination methods of the errors-GNSS surveying (coordinate, elevation, C1, C2, C3, etc.)-Evaluation and adjustment of GNSS data-Satellite or Space based surveying techniques other then GNSS like VLBI, SLR, LLR, DORIS
Course Description
A course that describe the production of point positions and related surveying and calculations using GNSS, based on national (BÖHHBÜY, TSE and Standards) regulations and international(ISO, EU Norms and Directives) standards
