Course Objectives		1. To inform about production planning and management in clothing industry. 2. To inform about building organizational structure in clothing manufacturing facilities. 3. To inform about material management and quality, product development and pricing operations in clothing manufacturing facilities.
Course Description		Organization of a clothing factory. Product development. Production planning and management. Apparel engineering. Efficiency and Productivity. Just in time production. Quick response. Material and resource planning. Quality management. Cost, pricing and consumer relationship.
Course Outcomes		At the end of the course, the students will have: I. Information about the organizational structure of the companies, II. Information about the development and production of the apparel products, III. Ability to analyze the efficiency of the production and to organize the activitiesregarding improvement of efficiency, IV. Information about product pricing and marketing of apparel.
