Course Objectives
1. To gain decision problem solving ability, 2. To establish the link between decision analysis results and planning, 3. To design effective decision-making system in maritime management.
Course Description
Overview of maritime problematic, maritime problems structuring, decision analysis stages, decision techniques, goal function of problem, problem variables, problem constraints, group decisions in maritime organizations, decision consistency, process improvement, decision problems in ship management, decision problems in shipyard organizations, decision problems in port operations.
Course Outcomes
I. Gain situational analysis about maritime management.
II. Analyze decision processes in maritime management.
III. Utilize decision techniques.
