Course Objectives
1. Learning of mathematical concepts such as linear spaces,, linear transformations, normed linear spaces, convergens. Axiomatic definitions of systems
2. To investgate theoretical models of linear time varying and linear time invariant systems
3. To learn mathematical representations of Control, communication electronic systems
4. To learn solutions of realization and minimal realization problem
Course Description
Mathematical background: Linear spaces, linear transformations, normed linear spaces, convergens. Axiomatic definitions of systems, state transition and readout functions. Time varying linear systems, state transition matrix: zerostate and zeroinput responses. Impulse response. Timeinvariant systems: exponential of a matrix, matrix functions, canonical forms, transfer function matrices. Controllability, observability and stability definitions, criteria in linear time invariant and/or varying system and, decomposition theorems . Realization, minimal realization problem and methods.
