Course Objectives 1. Analysis of the parameters related with lighting energy management
2. Evaluation of the sample studies basing on the gained knowledge,
3. To be able to use related simulation programs.
Course Description Lighting systems, parameters affecting the lighting energy consumption, concepts of energy management and lighting energy management, national and international recommendations and standards, control systems, impact of daylight responsive and automatically controlled lighting systems on energy management, integration of lighting system with other subsystems in terms of energy management.
Course Outcomes 1. To understand the interdisciplinary interaction related with lighting energy management and to achieve the original conclusions through new and complex ideas.
2. To be able to evaluate and use new information in the area of lighting energy management with a systematical approach.
3. To be able to develop research skills about the lighting energy management area.
4. To be able to contribute the solutions of, scientific, technological, social and cultural problems related with the field, and to support their advance.
