Course Objectives
Introducing basic tools and approaches of the observational seismology to graduate students.
Course Description
Seismogical data, observations, and modeling which could shed light on geodynamic processes shaping tectonic systems and surface features of our world is mainly within the scope of this course. In this respect, in particular, we will focus on measurement and modeling approaches of some physical properties of the crust and lithosphere such as seismic velocities, attenuation, and seismic anisotropy.
