Course Objectives 1. Analysis, research, presentation and discussion of the actual issues of control engineering.
2. Realizing an effective presentation for a topic related to the subjects of control engineering afterward a properly written a research document followed by a suitable literature review.
3. Emphasizing the importance of obeying the academic integrity and the professional honor codes by mentioning the ethical rules and the plagiarism,
4. Getting knowledge and having an opportunity of sharing experience of some professionals through seminars on various topics related to the electrical engineering. Thus, in addition to the topics covered in the courses, the students can have the opportunity to be informed about the different areas.
Course Description Seminar course has the content as follows:
1. Give the necessary information needed for conducting a suitable literature review, with emphasizing the effective reading and note-taking techniques.
2. Give the necessary information needed for publishing the results or the findings of the research in a suitable publication form such as the form of technical reports, conference papers or journal papers with emphasizing the importance of obeying ethical rules.
3. Give the necessary information and guidelines needed for preparing the most effective presentation document.
4. Give the necessary information and tips needed for realizing good presentations, with emphasizing the importance of controlling voice and body gesture and of obeying the time restriction.
