Course Description		Course Content: Introduction, membrane materials, membrane characteristics, preparation of membranes, membrane module configurations, mass transfer in membrane processes, polarization and fouling in membranes, module design and characteristics, microfiltration, ultrafiltration, nanofiltration, reverse osmosis, electrodialysis, distillation, pervaporation, dialysis, pre-treatment and cleaning of membranes, membrane bioreactors, water and wastewater treatment applications.
