Course Description		Vector and matrix norms, standard problems in numerical linear algebra, direct methods for linear systems, Gauss elimination, LU factorization, QR factorization, iterative methods, Jacobi method, Gauss-Seidal method, relaxation methods, method for eigenvalue problems, software packages .
