| Course Description |
Course issues: Home, housing, social change, city concepts and definitions, historical development of housing theories, theories of socio-cultural change, modernization, migration and slum theories, housing, urban and memory studies, the meaning of housing, housing, urban and everyday life, transformation, gentrification, globalization, segregation, and home, consumption, gated communities

| Course Outcomes |
1. To understand the interdisciplinary structure of the housing theories, to learn about current scientific studies about housing,
1. To comprehend the philosophical basis of new housing theories,
2. To transfer the assumptions to the field of housing design obtained after the
theoretical discussion,
