Course Objectives - To emphasize the fundamentals of electronic structures used in mechatronics
- To resolve the missing knowledge in electronics of the non-electronics based students
- To submit the principles of proper approach to analysis and design of electronic circuits
Course Description Semiconductor structure; semiconductor components, characteristics; single- and multi-stage amplifiers; operational amplifiers and their applications; instrumentation amplifiers, common mode rejection ratio, offset voltage and compensation circuits; power amplifiers; feedback; logic gates; combinational logic circuit analysis and design; decoders, multiplexers; flip-flops; synchronous sequential logic circuit analysis and design.
Course Outcomes M.Sc. students who successfully pass this course gain knowledge, skill and competency in the following subjects;

1) Getting idea about the semiconductor structures
2) Exhibition of systematic approach to analyze and design of electronic circuits
3) Design/analysis of amplifiers
4) Design/analysis of various electronic circuits
5) Design/analysis of combinational logic circuits
6) Design/analysis of synchronous sequential logic circuits
