Course Objectives

To give general insights about the magma forming environments and geochemical properties of magmatic rocks. Petrology of the magmatic rocks and related processes (such as magma differentiation and crystallization processes as well as the source characteristics will be given.

The interpretation of the geochemical and petrological properties of the magmatic rocks located in Turkey and other regions worldwide.
