Course Objectives
1. Ability to use a systemic approach for design phase
2. To gain a methodology for product development and R&D activities.
3. To carry out systemarical design processes by using knowledge gained during undergraduate education
Course Description
Aim of systematic approach in design. Definition of task. Analysis of task. Functional synthesis and analysis. Tools for creating new solutions. Technical and economical evaluation. Product planning. Embodiment in machines and detailed design.
Course Outcomes
1. Ability to follow systematic approach in design
2. Gain knowledge for product planning and R&D
3. Experience in finding new technical solutions.
