Course Objectives Transfer of fundamental knowledge on;
1. preparing oral presentations,
2. planning and conducting research,
3. giving an oral presentation,
4. giving an effective and successful talk to an audience
Course Description Within the framework of investigation, presentation, and discussion of the current topics in Environmental Biotechnology and related fields, seminars are given by lecturers, invited speakers, and primarily by enrolled students. Students' presentations are preferred to be within the scope of their thesis topics, if not, on any other current topic in the field of environmental biotechnology .
Course Outcomes M.Sc. students who successfully pass this course gain knowledge, skill and competency in the following subjects;
I. preparing and giving oral presentations,
II. systematically transferring the current developments in the area and one’s own work to other groups in and out of the area; in written, oral and visual forms,
III. effective communication and oral presentation in English
