Course Objectives
Course objectives are as follows:
1. To give perspective about the importance of visual merchandising
2. To give information about the ways and methods for an effective visual merchandising
3. To give information about related areas of visual merchandising
Course Description
This course focuses on the ways and methods which are employed to help retailers to be different, individualistic, unique; how to stand out in the crowd; how to make a lasting impression, so far as visual presentation of their products are concerned. In doing so, the effective use of the ways and methods will be disscussed based on what is right and fitting for the retailer, the brand, and the product offer.
Course Outcomes
Students who pass this course will have the following knowledge and abilities:
I. Technical knowledge about the ways and methods for an effective visual merchandising
II. Ability to comparatively evaluate and discuss the visual merchandising cases for different companies, brands, and products.
III. General knowledge about related areas of visual merchandising
IV. General knowledge about career opportunities in visual merchandising
